If you’re like me you are constantly looking for meals to make that are quick, easy and pleasing to your family. I am constantly scrolling Pinterest (follow me here) for a meal to add to our weekly meal plan. So, I will save you some time and bring to you my tried and true Pinterest meals.
Boy do I have a good one for you!
This is my go to! My hubby is super picky and even he loves this meal! I promise that it will not take you long and there will be compliments to the chef!
And, the best part….it’s very inexpensive. That’s a win win in my book. I recently made this for my mom and she said “You have got to make this for me again!”. She wasn’t here to know how easy it was and how little time it took for me to make it.
Soooo…here it is!
Roasted shrimp and broccoli. It tastes as good as it looks. The one pictured above can be found here. (Surely you didn’t think I took a picture that good!) There are a lot of variations of this recipe. The basic difference is the seasoning. To make it even more simple and easy I use salad dressing seasoning mixes. Italian and ranch (my hubby’s favorite) are my go-to’s. I recently used a garlic and herb seasoning mix and it was quite delicious.
We usually eat this dish as is. Especially when we’re trying to watch our carb intake. However, it doesn’t take much effort or time to add on to this meal. A quick pot of minute rice will not add any more time to this meal. Just start it when you preheat the oven and everything will be ready at the same time. If you really want to indulge, I recommend some nice hot fresh garlic bread. Because…it’s garlic bread. Don’t really need any other reason.
This is also a great meal for those wives who do not know their way around the kitchen and want to make a nice meal for their hubby. Or, those moms who want to make a nice meal for their children, that isn’t some version of a chicken dish, but don’t have a lot of time. Trust me, they will be satisfied.
You must try this one! Let me know how you liked it!
If this is one of your staples too, let me know how you make it special.
